This ones for all the "Health Junkies" at Rutgers. I am definitely not a very healthy eater because I don't really like the taste of vegetables and its very hard for me to eat a lot of fruits in one sitting. Also, ever since freshman year, its been hard for me to escape the "freshman fifteen" and I've been looking for healthier options. But, let me tell you...this place is just too perfect. This delicious treat comes with fresh quality products and bright colors. It's also very filling, and you'll feel refreshed and satisfied! The bowl I recommend is called the "Pacific" (seen in the picture) which consists of blended kale, bananas, pineapple, and coconut milk. Topped with strawberries, blueberries, shaved almonds, chia seeds, organic granola, and honey. They also have their Acai bowls, Pitaya bowls, Oatmeal bowls, etc. that come with a variety of fruits. Although it is on the more pricier side, its definitely worth it because it leaves you satisfied. Also, this place has a beautiful mural perfect for customers to take pictures while enjoying their meal.
The Playa Bowls are located right off of College Avenue (53 Mine St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901).
Prices ranges from around $7-$10
