Kilmers Market

This blog is a little different than the other food posts because this place is a small market in the Livingston campus. I introduce to you Kilmers Market. I believe that Kilmers Market is the best on-campus dining place on Livingston campus. Kilmers Market is conveniently located in the Livingston Plaza on the Livingston campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ. This place is an on-campus market and grocer that features store-made deli sandwiches, freshly tossed salads as well as a variety of fruits, vegetables, snacks and bottled beverages. Because Kilmers Market is an on-campus dining area, they take meal swipes from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. So, if you are a freshman with the 210 meal swipes, make this place your best friend!! There special sandwiches are amazing and they taste very fresh! My favorite sandwich is called the Sloppy Knight. It has cole slaw, ham, swiss cheese, turkey, and tomatoes in between rye bread. Also, you are able to toss your own salad, and their ingredients are very fresh! Look how awesome the salad looks!!

The sandwiches are $5.75 and the salads are usually around $4.
